Reasonably good, and provides some satisfaction. Could continue this for a while if not forever.

Trying Inverted Method for Yirgacheffe and increased Comandante grind dial to 18 (from 15*), which lead to a more pronounced Aroma during grind incidentally – as well as increased the Brew Time from the usual 1:25 to 2:25 minutes (as well as used a Thermometer to measure Water Temperature at 185f) – and the taste is much more full flavoured than previous cups. This is an Improv, and I’ll try the inverted only going forward. Very Good taste, and and very close to Excellent cup … definitely in comparison to the last few days.

New coffee Yirgacheffe from Café Sobab. Dial 15, and pretty Good (has a bit of Dark Chocolate) if only slightly bitter.

Improv: Brazil Cerrado with 16 grind and hot’ish water. Pretty Good taste (and getting closer to Excellent) .. very little Lemony notes, and smokey Dark Chocolate is coming through.

Improv: Dialed a bit coarser (14), and made 1850 Midnight Gold. This time a bit more visible crema than yesterday, and the resulting taste was Good (on the ‘decent’ side, because there is a slight Lemony undernote, and no noticeable Dark Chocolate notes I usually enjoy).

Espresso Italien
First batch ended before 2021-09-15: mostly Good, and a couple times Excellent even (probably to do with Water Temperature, and others). Verdict: will try again.
